Ki No Bi Gin
As an homage to the Japanese tradition of adding gold leaf to sake for celebratory (and shiny) drinks at festivals and weddings and the like, The Kyoto Distillery has created Kin No Bi Gin! Within the expression you’ll find little flakes of gold leaf, sourced from Horikin, a fellow Kyoto-based company. A snazzy label was designed in collaboration with yet another Kyoto resident, the husband and wife team known as Kira Karacho. Also, the name Kin No Bi is a bit of wordplay, as ‘Kin’ relates to gold and money in Japanese.
